FAQ
Shipping & Delivery
Orders containing glass bottles or jars require protective packaging and different shipping conditions. They are shipped at a fragile shipping rate. Non-fragile products such as dried mushrooms, coffee, spices, tea, and pasta use standard shipping rates.
Orders are usually delivered within 2–4 business days in Germany after dispatch.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email from DHL/DPD. If you have a courier preference, please leave a comment in the notes during checkout.
Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and include photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will work with the courier company to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Olive Oil
Fresh bottled olive oil usually arrives once per month. It is our best-selling product, and we always offer fresh extra virgin olive oil (EVOO).
Pamako is a high-phenolic extra virgin olive oil produced from ancient olive trees in Crete. It has received more than 350 international awards and is known for its exceptionally high polyphenol content and distinctive flavor. It is considered the most phenolic EVOO on the market.
Polyphenols are natural antioxidants found in olives. They help protect the oil from oxidation and contribute to many of the health benefits associated with high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
Pour a small amount into a glass, warm it slightly in your hands, smell the aromas, then take a small sip and spread it across your tongue. Notice the fruitiness, bitterness, and peppery finish.
Both! Because of its high antioxidant content, Pamako olive oil is stable when heated and can be used for cooking. However, many people prefer to use it raw over salads, vegetables, bread, or finished dishes to fully enjoy its aroma and flavor.
Many people enjoy taking one tablespoon in the morning, but it's also excellent for enhancing everyday meals. Try it:
- Over salads
- On vegetables
- With bread
- Over fish or pasta
- Added to warm dishes just before serving
Mushrooms
Many of our mushrooms are wild-harvested in natural forests rather than farm-grown. Wild mushrooms develop deeper and more complex flavors thanks to their natural environment.
Keep dried mushrooms:
- In a dry place
- Away from humidity
- In a sealed container after opening
Stored properly, they can keep their aroma for many months.
Wild mushrooms grow naturally in forest soil. Despite careful cleaning, small traces of natural particles may occasionally remain. A simple solution is to briefly rinse or soak the mushrooms before cooking.
Balsamic Vinegar
Giuseppe Giusti balsamic vinegar comes from Modena, Italy, a region famous for producing traditional balsamic vinegar for centuries.
The Giusti family has been producing balsamic vinegar since 1605, using traditional methods that include aging the vinegar in wooden barrels made from different woods such as oak, chestnut, and cherry. This slow aging process develops the vinegar's complex aroma, natural sweetness, and balanced acidity.
Today, Giusti remains one of the oldest and most respected balsamic vinegar producers in Modena.
Functional Coffee
Functional coffee is coffee that contains additional natural ingredients that provide extra benefits beyond regular coffee.
In many cases, functional coffee includes ingredients such as:
- Medicinal mushrooms
- Adaptogenic plants
- Other natural compounds that may support focus, energy balance, or general wellbeing
Compared to traditional coffee, functional coffee is often appreciated for:
- Smoother energy without strong caffeine spikes
- Additional nutritional compounds
- Unique earthy or mild flavors depending on the ingredients
Wild Fish
The wild fish products we select come from responsible fisheries that respect marine ecosystems.
This includes practices such as:
- Dolphin-safe fishing methods that avoid harming marine mammals
- Sustainable fishing quotas to protect fish populations
- Traceable sourcing from responsible fisheries
- Certifications that confirm environmentally responsible fishing practices
These standards help protect oceans, marine biodiversity, and future fish stocks while ensuring high-quality seafood.
